THERESE TETZEL
Strategic Planning
and Marketing Consultant

Therese’s career credentials cover over 25 years in management and marketing positions with major multinational corporations and as an independent management consultant.  Her areas of expertise include
planning, development and execution of corporate and marketing strategies
for a wide variety of products and services directed at both business and consumer markets.  

She is equally competent in the launching and brand development of new products and services and with the integration of sales, customer relations, advertising and P.R. with standard and live web media into effective marketing programs. She has managed global brands with full P&L responsibility in B2B and B2C in the retail and commercial markets. 

Much of this experience was gained while holding key management and operational positions with major multinational companies. With OxyChem
she rose thorough the ranks from Account Manager/Sales Representative to Regional Sales Manager in Philadelphia. From there she went to Quaker State Corporation in Dallas as Global Brand Manager responsible for strategic marketing and product management. She later joined TXU Energy where she rose from Sales Manager responsible for corporate accounts to the position of General Manager Commercial Marketing.

Therese is a five-time award winning professional sales and marketer in
the industrial, commercial and consumer fields. Awards she has earned include: Vendor of the Year and Sales Person of the Year while at OxyChem, Communications of the Year Award while with Quaker State; and at TXU she was twice awarded the EEI National Account Award by representatives of the top 600 US commercial and retail companies.

Since leaving the corporate ranks in 2005 she has worked as an independent consultant to numerous mid-size and smaller firms operating in the telecommunications, government, retail, oil and gas, energy, publishing, chemicals, plastic industries and not for profit arts. She is now an Associate Consultant with Strategic Management Services, Inc.

Therese graduated from Akron University with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Administration and Marketing. She is thoroughly familiar with financial planning and financial modeling having attended select executive
and finance courses at the Wharton School of Business. She is a member
of Leadership America and founder of the Dallas Women’s Executive Networking Group.
