Ralph’s background as an accomplished creative and graphics consultant covers all aspects of production for print and electronic media, direct mail, sales promotion, and other collateral materials. Fresh from the University of Texas, where he majored in commercial advertising arts, graphic and fashion design, he went to work for Marcom Communications in El Paso where he rose to the position of Creative Director.

From there he returned to Dallas as Creative and Graphics Director for International Airlines Passengers Association. There, he supervised the development and production of all promotional materials, developed a new corporate identity for the company and directed media placement and contact with suppliers. He then opted for going into business for himself and opened his own full-service creative studio featuring advance Macintosh computer graphics, design, advertising, and sales promotion support services to such clients EDS, Tracy Locke, IAPA, Strategic Management Services, Datacom, Baytank Marine Terminal, Dixie Carriers, and Austin Industries.

In 1989 he joined JCPenney's corporate offices as Design Manager &
Senior Designer. Here, he directed the design and development of all
visual merchandising, store image and special events programs for 1,400
JCPenney stores throughout the U.S. His responsibilities included the preparation and execution of all country event promotions. In this capacity
he traveled to Spain, Morocco, Mexico, Greece, and the Philippines for selection of promotional materials and coordination of foreign suppliers with country events. From Penney's, he returned to the consulting ranks as a creative director. At SMS he is responsible for all graphics including print, video production, and Internet web development.
